U.S. Army Coaches Academy
Thursday, Jan. 3 – Saturday, Jan. 5, 2014
For the past ten years, the U.S. Army has recognized the commitment and dedication of today’s high school coaches by inviting each U.S. Army All-American’s coach to San Antonio during Bowl Week to attend the U.S. Army Coaches Academy. The Academy provides an outstanding opportunity for Academy Coaches to learn from and interact with an elite group of clinicians with more than 100 combined years of NFL and NCAA experience. Throughout the three-day Academy, coaches have a chance to take part in numerous events, including the U.S. Army Welcome BBQ, seminars on leadership, football and physical development, the U.S. Army Awards Dinner and, of course, the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Highlights of the Academy include classroom seminars, an on-field clinic built to expose Academy Coaches to some of the most cutting-edge information from top pro football and college coaches and leadership seminars directed by U.S. Army representatives. This year, the Academy will welcome more than 90 coaches from across the country.
National sponsors of the U.S. Army Coaches Academy include: the U.S. Army; Football University; SKLZ; adidas; American Family Insurance; 247Sports; Battle Sports Science; Gatorade; NewTek; and Xenith.
