The U.S. Army All-American Bowl excitement gets started every fall when each U.S. Army All-American athlete and marching band student is honored during a pep rally at their school in front of Army representatives, classmates, teammates, family members, school administrators and media. The 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour kicked off on September 19, 2017 and recognized more than 200 high school senior football and marching band members as U.S. Army All-Americans. In the aggregate, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour touches more than 1.5 million students, athletes, coaches and families throughout the 12-week tour.

Selection as a U.S. Army All-American is an important and prestigious honor for these athletes and musicians. Only the strongest are chosen to wear the Army colors, and these young men and women truly embody the characteristics of the Army Soldier – demonstrating Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage on a daily basis.

The Selection Tour has grown each year since its inception over a decade ago and has executed more than 1,300 events and reached more than a million people to date. In addition to the press conferences and pep rallies that take place at their respective high schools, All-Americans have also been recognized in front of thousands more as honored guests at NFL games, major NCAA matchups, and regional band competitions.

The 2017 Tour reached 190 high schools in more than 35 states.
