Biography: Hampton has long arms and is very physical when jamming the receivers at the line of scrimmage. A very sound player, he understands multiple coverages, and can bait the quarterback into throwing the ball to where he can jump the route or recover on the long ball for a pick. His great knack for the ball resulted in 10 interceptions his junior year. He recorded 50 tackles during his junior campaign.
