Biography: McGuffie is explosive in every sense of the word. He has uncanny balance, exceptional vision, and the ability to score from anywhere on the field. McGuffie has very good speed, great acceleration and quickness, and the ability to make people miss in the open field with a move or cut. He will also surprise you with his power, and even hurdle a defender or two. McGuffie is fearless, hits the hole hard, and just needs a small seam to break a big run.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound McGuffie racked up one of the most impressive single season rushing totals in recent memory during his junior campaign. He rushed for over 3,200 yards and scored 44 touchdowns on the ground at Cy-Fair, and was named AP All-State 5A RB.
